Cougar Charms competition season: Preview

After accompanying and cheering on our football boys for the past 10 weeks, the Tomball Cougar Charms are now ready to begin their competition season.

Unlike football season, the Cougar Charms get to show off their true talents as dancers by participating in choreographed routines with amusing turns, jumps and leaps. The Cougar Charms are now learning new dances and skills for their first competition in February.

Contest season is the Cougar Charms’ expertise. This year, they are performing a total of four dance routines. They will be execute a kick routine, a team modern dance, contest jazz, and their famous military routine.

“I am extremely excited for contest season because this is my last year as a Charm,” Charms Lieutenant Alyssa Surface said. “I think it will be one to remember.”
