Girls soccer mashed Magnolia 5-0, adding another notch to their winning streak.

This victory puts their district record 2-0 and overall record 12-0.

Last Friday, soccer won their first district game with a final score of 8-1.

In the first half the Coogs made four goals while simultaneously preventing Willis from scoring.

Willis stepped up their game in the second half by wiggling through the Coogs’ defenses, making a goal.

However as the second half progressed, THS made an additional four goals to cap the win.

This Friday, the girls will be at Waller, a game the girls believe will end with another Coogs win.

“Heck yes,” senior Darsi Lopez said. “Of course we’re going to beat them.”
