Still looking for plans after prom? Sure, going to Galveston and renting a beach house is fun, but there are so many more things to do aside from just going to the beach.
In Galveston, there are so many opportunities to go out and have fun with your friends. For example, the Strand Historic District is the perfect area with shops, cafes, and restaurants. While it is a historic site, there are so many other fun activities to do, such as grabbing ice cream, buying souvenirs, and shopping.
For more fast-paced fun, Pleasure Pier, an amusement park in Galveston, features a variety of rides, games, and restaurants.
At the end of the day, many also enjoy walking along the beach, biking the seawall, and hosting beach bonfires. But safety comes first when doing all of these activities. Check out “Safety during prom night” by Sarah Kapeel for more information on how to keep prom fun and safe.
However, it’s common for some after-prom plans not to be set in Galveston. For those looking to go somewhere else, many other students go to Conroe or San Antonio. In San Antonio, many enjoy walking along the Boardwalk, sightseeing in the city, or going to Six Flags. Some also enjoy going to Lake Conroe, where you can jet ski, rent a boat, swim, and tan.
