The Tomball volleyball team has been on a roll recently, driving its way to the state semi-finals. The Cougars played their last game against North Forney High School, beating them 3 sets to 1.
With the State Semis coming up, the team has been practicing hard, getting prepared to win. The team will be driving up to Dallas this Friday to get ready for the game.
“We have been watching a lot of film and incorporating the strategies we have planned to use in the game at practice, so we are well prepared.” Adrianne Ryan said.
The team has grown a lot during the playoff experience, working hard to stay in the game. From late hours at the school practicing to the long drives to away games, the Cougars are ready for the challenge.
“We are a very bonded team and trust each other. We are going in as the underdogs, and to win, we will come out with high energy and focus,” Ryan also stated.
Their next game will be held at Wiley G. Thomas Coliseum in Haltom City. Tomball will play Southlake Carroll, and if they win the game, they will make it to the state finals.
