The Finale for the Tomball Cross Country Season is just around the corner with the district meet being at Spring Creek Park, here is all there is to know about the meet.
Today, the District meet for Cross Country takes place at Spring Creek Park. Where Tomball and all the other teams there will compete and try to get their varsity team to advance into the next meets which are purely for Varsity.
The Divisions are as follows:
- Varsity Boys – Running a 5K
- Varsity Girls – Running a 5K
- JV Boys – Running a 5k
- JV Girls – Running a 2 mile
- Freshmen Boys – Running a 2 Mile
The team will leave at 6:15AM to go to the meet and will arrive there at 6:30 where the coaches of all teams competing will meet at 7AM. The race schedule is as follows:
- 8AM – Varsity Boys 5k
- 8:30AM – Varsity Girls 5k
- 9AM – JV Boys 5K
- 9:30AM – JV Girls 2 Mile
- 10AM – Freshmen Boys 2 Mile
After the races are completed there will be an Award Ceremony where the top three varsity teams advance farther up the ranks to potentially have a shot to compete nationally along with the top 10 overall individuals of the meet, also varsity only.
