Girls’ basketball starts off the season 2-2

Girls’ basketball recently kicked off their season with a 50-35 win against Kingwood Park. Kylee Simons led the team in points on the 4th scoring 13 points, making 6/11 FGA. On the 8th the Lady Coogs took on Dayton securing another win with a score of 46-34. Sophomore Mallory Lehmann led the team dropping 10 points.

On Nov. 10, the girls fought a tough battle against Cypress Springs but came up short, losing 49-26. The next day the girls had another tough game against Bellaire, again coming up short with a score of 53-43.

The Lady Coogs will take on Lufkin at home on Tuesday, Nov. 15. Varsity will tip off at 6:00 pm, the teams are hoping for a full crowd to keep their season going.
