After losing to Tomball Memorial from 2018-2020, Tomball High School proved to the City of Tomball that Tomball High School is the Pride of Texas. The Varsity Cougars have been putting the hours and working harder than ever and it showed with a score of 48-35 at the end of the game. Tomball still remains undefeated going into the district games and non district games.

The Varsity Football team has kept their winning streak up and will be playing all the Klein schools for the other district games, starting with Klein Forest (4-1) on Friday in the Homecoming Game.

“Our boys have been progressively getting better and better with everything and I believe that if we keep getting better we have a chance of being competitive against the Klein schools as well,” Assistant Head Coach David Handal said, praising the team’s work ethic in practice.

But winning also takes right mindset.

“The varsity boys have been doing everything we have told them and they have been doing outstanding when it comes to team chemistry and morale,” Head Football coach Kevin Flanigan said.

The players have been staying consistent in taking a lead early in the game and keeping the point gap wide enough so that their opponents can’t make a comeback.
