The Tomball Varsity Football team took home their second win of the season last Friday at their first home game, defeating Nimitz High School 52-0.

Senior Cale Hellums was eager for his teammates and fans to experience a THS football game in the new TISD stadium.

“It was definitely a job well done,” he said. “I was grateful to have an opportunity for me and the whole team to put on a good show for all the Tomball fans to come out and see the new stadium.”

One of Hellums’ proudest moments last Friday was after the game when he celebrated the win with his team.

“It felt good at the end of the game seeing that the defense led to a shutout and we didn’t allow the other team to score any points,” Hellums said.
