Boys’ Soccer comes back at Aldine tournament

The boys’ soccer team had their second tournament last Thursday- Sunday. They played three games against Cy-Fair, Montgomery, and Mayde-Creek High School.

Tomball beat Montgomery 6-0 during the fist game of the tournament. This raised team spirits and helped boost team confidence.

The second game was against Cy-Fair and sadly the Tomball boys lost 3-2 but that didn’t drag the spirits.

The final game was against Mayde-Creek and although the game started off with Tomball losing 2-0, they came back and won the game 3-2.

“We are starting to be more fluid on the field and were better in the back on our defense.” Said Boys’ Varsity Soccer Coach Martin Metcalf.

The boys have proven that they are no pushover against the 6-A schools, and when they have more games they’ll be prepared for whatever team they play has to throw at them.
