Basketball takes on Klein Cain this Saturday

Both Boys and Girls Basketball face Klein Cain this Saturday. Girls are at home and Boys are away for an important game in each teams’ season.

Though it’s early in the season, a win for the Varsity Lady Coogs could help them climb up the district standings for a better spot, as they sit just below Cain currently.

This is also the last game before the Lady Coogs play rival Tomball Memorial for an exciting away game. The Wildcats are 4-0 in district play, so a victory at home this week could help boost the confidence of the team going into the tough away game next week.

As for the Boys Varsity team, who are currently 0-2 in district, this also comes at an important time. They face Cain away, and with two more tough games next week, a victory would mean a boost in morale for the team.

Though it’s still early, the season is now fully underway and the Coogs have many tough opponents within the district. A victory now could turn the season around for the Coogs and result in a better district standing later down the road.

With the girls at home this Saturday and boys at home next Saturday, both teams are hoping for a large home crowd to cheer them on.
