Volleyball suffers unexpected defeat

In an unexpected defeat, Tomball lost to TMHS with final scores of 25-19, 16-25, 11-25, 21-25

Senior Natalia Munoz is kill leader at a total of 13, senior Kendall Glueck made two blocks, and senior Katelyn Richbourg made 28 assist.

Junior Ainsley Hardy is dig leader at a total of 24 along with also making 29 receives.

Senior Lucy Schaefer and junior Abby Hairell tied for leading aces with one each.

This Friday’s game is at home against Brenham. Even though Tomball defeated Brenham earlier this season, Tomball also defeated TMHS earlier this season.

The Cougars remain in the lead for the district title and are already assured a playoff berth.

Last Friday was a farcry from Tuesday’s game with Tomball walking on Waller.

Final scores where 19-25, 25-18, 15-25, 27-25, 11-15.

There was a three-way tie for leading Ace between Munoz, Hairell, and Richbourg each making one.

Richbourg also made 22 assist along with Munoz being kill leader with a total of 14 and dig leader at a total of 19.

Junior Samantha Chapman and Hardy each made 22 receives.

Last but not least, junior Ava Johnson and senior Kayla Cannon each made one block.
