Varsity football defeated Foster High with a final score of 20-10 with an overall record 3-0.

“They were ranked #5 in the state of Texas,” Gilberto Amezaga said, “so it was a big upset for them.”

This Friday’s game is at home against the Willis Wildkats, the first in-district game of the season.

Although the Coogs lost to Willis last year, that no longer means anything because the Coogs also lost to Foster last year but creamed them last Friday.

“We have a good game plan for them,” Amezaga said. “It’s all about executing and getting the win.”
