The secondary summer school will be held at Grand Lakes Junior High School this summer. Session 1 is from June 1 to June 18. Session 2 is from June 22 to July 10. (July 3 is a holiday). The hours are from 8:00 am- 1:00 pm.
The original credit registrations began on April 1 and run through May 1. Students must attend 13 of 14 days to receive the credit for the class. Classes are Monday through Friday. P.E, health, speech, government, and economics are qualified as original credit classes. Each session is worth a semester credit, and students can only take one class each session. The cost per session is $155 for currently enrolled students. The cost is $310 for non-TISD students. More information is available on the Tomball ISD website. For any questions, contact Mark Vierkant or Jenifer foley, the secondary summer school administrators.
Courses will be offered only during the sessions indicated and only if a sufficient number of students enroll in the course. Students will be notified as early as possible in the event that a course is cancelled. Courses may be combined in order for classes to occur. Classes also may be closed once a maximum student enrollment cap is reached. Expectations for secondary summer school are the same as during the regular school year. Severe or persistent misconduct will result in removal of the student for the remainder of the session with forfeiture of fees.
