This week, the 2025-2026 National Honor Society officers inducted the new members during class. Every year, the officers select a new theme; this time, they chose a Medieval knight theme. It’s a great honor to be a part of the NHS team. “I kept seeing people walking around with roses and the buildup gets really exciting,” Abby Perez said. “When I saw them come in, and I got inducted, it was really cool.”
Members are expected to show the four pillars:Â scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Additionally, inductees are expected to complete volunteer hours, serve as role models for the student body, and attend monthly meetings.
“I’ve really been working on my leadership and meeting those expectations,” junior, Jack Tower said. “It’s a lot of work, but it’s worth it.”
Congratulations to all the inductees of the 2026-2027 NHS term!
