Winter Guard wins state!

This year’s varsity winter guard season was a sweet ending as they became Scholastic A Blue TCGC State Champions last weekend at Reed Arena.

“I feel extremely honored to complete this goal alongside my fellow teammates,” senior, Samantha Lee said. “It was nice to be with my teammates and push each other together to win again.”

They have consecutively become state champs in three different classes for the past three years.  In 2022 they won in the Scholastic Regional A class with their show entitled “The Shift.” In the 2023 season, they moved up to the Scholastic AA class and performed “Runaway Train” becoming that year’s state champs.

“When I’m with the other members of the color guard, I feel motivated to continue our winning streak and outdo ourselves each year to improve,” Lee said.
