The Bolt Initiative is a newly formed club with a noble purpose of serving the community by assisting non-profit organizations. On Tuesday, the club held its inaugural meeting, marking the beginning of its journey to positively impact the community.

Its mission is to promote community service by gathering like-minded individuals who are passionate about making a difference. The club aims to create a healthy and sustainable environment for all through this initiative by working closely with non-profit organizations.

Currently, they are planning to have their first event in March and further instructions will be provided as time progresses. Teacher Tammy Baker, from room 2213, is the teacher who sponsors the club has Remind access and will be using her room to host club meetings.

Yesterday’s meeting featured students introducing themselves, a presentation on the club initiative, and free snacks. Overall, their first meeting was highly successful and they are planning to host another soon.

I have really enjoyed my previous experience with the Cougar Claw and plan on spending more years on this team. I also really enjoy reading, knitting, and my extracurricular activities. I’m looking forward to this year :)
