Concerts, livestock, and carnivals aren’t the only things rodeo has to offer, art students put their creative twist on it and are going to showcase it tomorrow at the Tomball Event Center. Everyone is welcome to come see amazing art made by students from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

“It lets the students showcase their ability,” Art teacher Stella Cunningham said. “Especially in something they may not be interested in. They’re usually surprised with their work.”

The artists range from as young as elementary to high school students. To see the variety and dive into young artists’ minds is something people don’t usually see.

“My favorite thing to see is when students think they won’t have the ability to do this specific style and then it becomes their favorite piece,” Cunningham said.

Hey Coogs! I’m this years Editor-in-Chief and I am super excited for everyone to see what I have planned for this year, especially when it comes to print. Outside of Newspaper, I’m in the Dental Practicum where I’ll be able to earn my RDA certification. Outside of school as a whole, I like to spend lots of time with my friends and family. Since my senior year is going by fast I like to cherish those moments with everyone I come in contact with at THS. And always Go Coogs!
