The 2023 TCP Drum Majors and Colorguard Captains ready for Finals Retreat

Last weekend the TCP Band performed their show “1000 Words” for the one of the last times at the UIL Area Contest.

After four years they have made it back to be a UIL Area Finalist, with their last time being in 2019. Placing 8th in prelims they moved on to finals and ended up places 9th overall.

“Even though we didn’t make it to state that was never the initial goal.” said Junior Josalyn Escobedo.”This year is exactly how I pictured it would and I couldn’t have asked for anything better.”

The Tomball Drumline has one more competition coming up Nov. 11 at Marcus High School. They will be performing “1000 Words” along with some added in feature parts for the tenors, snares, and bass drums.
