TCP Band moves on to UIL Area this weekend

The Tomball Cougar Pride Band went to the UIL Region 9 contest this Tuesday and earned straight 1’s in the 6A division. Allowing for them to go to UIL Area F tomorrow at the Galena Park ISD Stadium.

Performing their prelims run at 11:45 a.m. as the first band in the second block of the day. They are competing against 23 other bands for one of the 10 spots in finals. The top 4-5 of those band will advance to UIL State.

“I’m ready to perform this weekend and give it my all since this might be the last full band contest of the season,” said Senior William Klein.

At the end of the prelims runs their will be an exhibition performance by the Sam Houston State University Band at 4 p.m.
