The TCP Drumline heads to the Thunder in the Hills Percussion Invitational tomorrow, Sept. 16 at 5 p.m., at Dripping Springs High School in Austin.

They have been preparing their show entitled “1000 Words” the entire summer and will perform all three parts which includes “Photograph” by Cody Fry and Movement Nine from “Pictures at an Exhibition” by Modest Mussorgsky.

Being placed in the advanced small class, they’re competing against Louis D. Brandeis, Georgetown, Rouse, and McCallum High School.

“We are very prepared compared to last year considering that we already know all of our show,” said sophomore Ryan Piepho, “and I’m really excited to see how we are compared to the other drumlines.”
