Come wish cheer good luck this Thursday morning in the Competition Gym from 9:04-9:20 as they perform their UIL routine in Cougar Block before heading out to state competition.

“I’m very excited about State this year,” senior Mallory McKinnerney said. “We have put so much work into this routine the past 6 months, that I think we have enough to pull off a win.”

Last year, the team won second overall in 6A Division 2, and they also received an individual crowd-leading state championship award. This year, the girls strive for first overall coming off of a big first-place win at the National Cheerleading Association competition that took place in December.

They perform in prelims this Saturday at 3:45 p.m. in Fort Worth.
