The Tomball Cougar Pride Band will be heading tomorrow to the Galena Park Festival Contest.

“I’m really excited to see how far this show takes us considering how hard everyone’s working,” senior Julian Jimenez said. “I’m hopeful to make it to state and see the underclassmen get to chance to experience how great it is.”

They are scheduled for the 3:40 p.m. spot at Area 2. Admission is $5 with children 6 and under no charge. It will be held at the Galena Park ISD Athletic Stadium.

They will be competing against Dekaney, Kingwood, Westfield, CE King, Cleveland, Caney Creek, Summer Creek, Atascocita, Hastings, Clear Creek, Conroe, Deer Park, Willis, Dickinson and North Shore, the host of the contest.

They will be performing parts 1 & 2 of their show entitled “17 Cherry Tree Lane” with musical moments from Saving Mr. Banks, Mary Poppins & Mary Poppins Returns,  and a feature from Rhianna’s “Umbrella” song.
