This week, the Tomball High School Cheer program picked their leadership positions for the 2021-2022 season.

The social committee consist of incoming senior Natalee Allen as President, incoming sophomore George-Anna Dale as Vice President, Kamrynn Patrick as Secretary, incoming sophomore Jordi Frost as Historian, and incoming senior Kennedy clow, incoming junior Payton Genzer, and incoming sophomore Devyn Cintron as freshman mentors.

As for the captains for next season, incoming junior Belle Huizenga as JV Captain and incoming sophomore Payton Uhl as JV Co-Captain. As for Varsity, incoming senior Addison Burnham is Varsity Captain and Olivia Hunt is your Varsity Co-Captain.

THS Cheer was also given the opportunity to take part in a new team called the sparkle team. This team was started a few years ago but is going to start to take off this next season. It was started to give special needs kids the opportunity to have the experience of being a highschool cheerleader. The Captain of this team is incoming senior Haylie Briones.

Although each of these positions play very different roles, they are each very valuable to the program. Coaches Steven Weibel and Jessica Cantrell are both very excited to see what this new year will hold.
