Tomball stage One-Act, The Crucible, will compete in Regionals this Saturday at University High School, in Waco Texas . This is not open to the public due to COVID-19.

At the District competition, Wyatt Van Houten and Avery Bishop were All-Star Cast members, Anthony Sloterdijk and Regan Halstead were Honorable Cast members, Grace Frazier was named Best Technician, and Christy Salcido was named Best Performer.

“I was really excited to win Best Technician and advance, I’m really proud of the company and all their hard work,” senior Grace Frazier said.

The entire team is glad their work payed off and excited to perform again this weekend.

“We put a lot of work into the show for the last couple of months,” junior Regan Halstead said, “so it really meant a lot to us that we were able to advance.”

The One-Act play The Crucible, written by Arthur Miller, is about the witch trials in the town of Salem.

“Our commitment to our theater and our show has really brought our team closer, and our individual commitment really shines,” junior Avery Bishop said.
