In honor of Election Day, the district has given students the day off in order to give them one final day to vote for their next president.

Several schools in the district are being used as polling places, so the district was also reluctant to open the schools to outsiders while students were on campus.

Turnout for this election is expected to be record-breaking. So students who are 18 and registered to vote, go vote. If you’re not old enough to vote, encourage a friend or family member to make it out to the polls.
