Junior and seniors have the opportunity the Essay portion of the SAT next week on Wednesday.

It is free for all juniors and seniors, but is only the SAT Essay, not the entire test, which will be offered March 4. Check out our other story about the Free Full SAT being offered for more information.

The test is optional for both grades, but is highly encouraged by the school to take advantage of the opportunity.

Due to this change, students will stay in second period for an extra hour while juniors and seniors take the Essay. The other grades will stay in their second period class during this time. If they are in a mixed class with junior and seniors, underclassmen will be sent to the cafeteria so they do not disturb testers.
