Can you imagine a day or a week without a hot meal or even a shower?
Life is rough as a soldier and the Tomball staff recognizes this. The staff wants to adopt 25 soldiers and send basic supplies and food to them in Afghanistan.
The soldiers miss the simple snacks from their home life such as dried fruit, beef jerky, nuts, chips, cookies, trail mix, crystal-light, Gatorade mix-ins and even gum. With the lack of showers and running water inAfghanistan, soldiers are also in dire need of baby wipes just to remain clean.
The son of woodshop teacher John Toreson and THS staffer Amy Toreson is currently one of the soldiers inAfghanistan who need our help. Everyone is encouraged to help with the soldier adoption and all donations are accepted and appreciated. Drop off your supplies in Room 1201.
