Cougars expect tougher match in 2nd round

The Cougar Varsity baseball boys dominated in their first playoff round Friday against North Forest, winning both games with scores of 16-0 in the first game and 15-0 in the second.

This week  the Cougars will be competing in the second playoff round against Willis High School, and expect a tougher time.

“We have been practicing everyday and all we can do is try our hardest,” said head baseball coach Doug Rush. “They won their district, we won our district, it should be a very good series.”

The first game will be Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at Willis (map it here) and the second game is Friday night at 7 p.m. at Tomball. If a third game is needed, it will be at noon Saturday at Conroe High School. Tickets for any game are $5 for adults and $3 for students.

We wish the best of luck in hoping the boys can steal the state title once again for Tomball High School.
