Girls’ soccer had a good game against Magnolia High School. They kept it tied 0-0 and went into overtime but fell short in a tough 1-0 loss.

Last year, a lot of the senior girls graduated, so this year is a re building year for the team. After the Magnolia game the girls are starting to get to know each other. The Lady Cougars are confident in making the playoffs this year.

“We are starting to jell now,” Molly Morrison said.

The two freshmen, Ellan Griffin, and Regina are making great contributions to the team. Next game will be against Waller and the girls are hoping for plenty of support.
