Memorial services set for Cothren

Blake Cothren
Funeral services for Fredrick Blake Cothren, the FFA senior who died last week, will be held Saturday at 11 a.m., with a viewing Friday night from 5-8.
The services will be held at Canon Funeral Home, 1420 Farr Street in Waller.
Cothren, a 17-year-old senior at THS and active member of the FFA program, died Thursday night in a four-wheel ATV accident.
To help raise money for the family to cover funeral costs, the FFA will sponsor a BBQ meal after the service. Anyone who wants to donate money or food for the BBQ should contact Jessica Reeves in the FFA building.
There is also a Go Fund Me effort to raise money. You can donate at http://www.gofundme.com/eqvzbs.
The accident happened around 7 p.m., but no details are yet available.
Friends of Cothren’s who might need to talk to a counselor are encouraged to visit with their counselor.
There was a candle light memorial last Saturday at 8 p.m., held at Tomball United Methodist.
Your donation will support the student journalists of Tomball High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs.
