Cougars take on Stratford last year during the 2022 Season

Varsity football will take on Stratford for their first non-district game this Friday at Darrell Tully Stadium (directions).

The kickoff time changed from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. due to extreme heat conditions for the well being of all students and staff. Gates open at 7.

Last season the Coogs fell to the Spartans but are hoping this year to power through and take the win. The Coogs will face a tough competition with the Spartans having finished 8-3 last year, placing them 3rd in District 17-6A.

“The team has been working hard all summer and throughout camp,” said Senior Colby Dawson, while Ramon Pernas added, “Everyone has been showing up and we think we’re ready for Friday’s game.”
