The PSAT will be taken this week at school. All sophomores and juniors are required to take this test, and freshmen had the choice of whether or not to take it.

All in-person students will be taking their PSAT on Wednesday, October 14 at the beginning of the school day in their assigned rooms while all TVS students are scheduled to have their testing Saturday morning. Assigned rooms can be found at the top of the lower lobby stairs.

The PSAT gives a good indicator of how a student will perform on the SAT and is the qualifying test for National Merit Scholarships. Juniors that score high on the PSAT could be eligible to be a Finalist and get the opportunity to earn scholarships. The score needed to qualify will come out around September 2021.
