Good start for girls basketball

The start of the season is here and the girls are winning. They are 7-5 in the season and, being in a new district now, they are playing harder teams that will get them ready to face the competition in district.

“It’s going good so far and were learning our strengths and weaknesses and learning what they are. I don’t know what the hardest teams are because this is our first time in this district,” Meagan Shoemaker said.

They’re projected to finish second in district. They have won 2 district championships, and are looking for a third. This should push them to be further up in their rank deeper in season.

“We’re gonna do pretty well in our season I think. We work well together as a team and have good chemistry,” Shoemaker said.
