At an away game Jan. 10, all three girl’s basketball teams not only defeated Magnolia West, but outright dominated them.

Varsity’s final score was 47-23, JV’s was 46-14, and Freshmen’s was 24-22

“At first we weren’t doing well,” Ashley Ramsey (9th) said, “Then the second half we picked up and did better. Yeah we did way better!”

The Varsity and JV games were played in a different fashion.

From the start, varsity Coogs dominated the court; at no point was there any fear of loosing the game. Not to say Magnolia West played badly, the Coogs just played better.

“I believe we came together as a team and fit all the puzzle pieces together,” Isabella Calhoun (11th) said, “This allowed us to be successful.”
