Coogs suffer a tough loss
Civil War erupted Tuesday night in Tomball.
The varsity baseball team took on rival Tomball Memorial, coming in with first first place in district and a lot of confidence. But after suffering a couple of errors during the game, the Cougars were unable to get anything going against the unstoppable Wildcats, who held on to a 4-0 lead.
The Cougars threatened in the seventh but were unable to plate any runs.
The Cougars are set to play in Magnolia West in another district matchup tonight at 7.
