Two people with covered faces did $20,000 in damages to the school on homecoming weekend.

It was previously believed that the break-in at THS last weekend was an isolated incident. It’s now been realized that was not the case.

“Multiple other schools, from elementary grade levels up to high school, both private and public, have been victims of the same break-ins by the same two suspects,” Campus Officer Christopher Burns said.

The vandals attack by breaking-in through windows, smashing computer monitors, flooding classrooms and bathrooms, and attempting to steal money from safes and desks.

“In each case, the suspects have dressed nearly identical and carried the same tools,” Burns reported. “While this leads us to broaden our profile of the suspects, it does not definitively rule out any specific people, including former or current students.”

According to the district, last week’s break-in resulted in about $20,000 in damages. Most of the repairs were completed within a day.

Anyone with information regarding the break-ins should contact the Tomball Police Department as soon as possible. Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for any information that could lead to an arrest.
