Registration for Summer school original credit has opened up for both TISD students and non-TISD students.

Summer School has two sessions with both being Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. till 1.p.m.

Session One beings June 5-22. Session Two is June 26-July 14, with July 4th a TISD holiday.

Courses that will be offered are:

  • Economics (12th grade only)
  • Government (12th grade only)
  • Health
  • Professional Communications (Speech)
  • Physical Education (PE)

They will only be offered if 15 or more students enroll in the course. Students will be notified as early as possible in case the course gets canceled. Classes will close once the maximum enrollment cap is reached.

Registration and tuition can be made through the online window April 3-May 5. Payments can made through Home Access Center (HAC), accessed through Parent Link, or by the Summer School website.

Registration is incomplete until payment is received. No refunds will be made after the sessions begin. If payed online with Credit/Debit Card it is $155; if it is a non-TISD student the fee is $310 with Debit/Credit card online.

Students are expected to attend in person each day and will not receive credit if they attend less than 13 of the 14 days per session.

If student qualifies for Free/Reduced Lunch status for the 2022-2023 school year, there is a discounted fee for Credit Recovery courses. Email summer school principal Mark Vierkant at [email protected].
