Best Buddies held its first meeting of the year Wednesday after school. They kicked off the year by introducing officers and going over guidelines and standards for being apart of this club, and discussing upcoming events.

Best Buddies is a program that emphasizes inclusion and creates opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to create one-on-one friendships by being paired up with members.

“I think it’s going to be a good experience,” said Madeline Ames, a new member of Best Buddies. “It includes all different people.”
