The Facts About Black Friday
Black Friday wasn’t always called Black Friday, surprisingly. However, since the 19th and early 20th centuries, retailers have tried to push people to shop the Friday after Thanksgiving. The actual origin was that most retailers operated in a financial loss for most of the year and Black Friday was named such because it was the day of the year when the retailers would finally see a profit, moving out of the red and into the black.
This also unofficially or officially starts off holiday shopping season. Almost all stores come out with Door buster Sales with early bird specials to attract consumers to their stores. People stand in line for hours before the store is opened, to grab the bargain of the year.
Almost every store has something that interests every one. For bargain hunters, if there was a thing such as the biggest festival of the year, it would be Black Friday.
