A season of shattered expectations ended Saturday night in Waco as the Cougars were shelled by Longview 24-0 in the regional quarterfinals.
As heartbroken as the Cougar faithful are today, they can look back on a season that brought Tomball football back to the big stage. Tomball posted 10 wins for the first time since 1988, and made the playoffs for the first time in years.
After several seasons of disappointment, it was an amazing ride for the Cougars.
Tomball ends the season with a 10-3 record and advanced deeper into the playoffs than many thought possible.
