Varsity volleyball continued their amazing season this year with a huge win against The Woodlands on Tuesday, who entered the game ranked 10th in the state, winning in 3 sets to sweep the floor with all the teams.

Leading the game with a score of 25-19, the Lady Cougars put up a game full of suspense. On the second set, they held the game strong only losing one point to The Woodlands leaving them at 25-20.

The Lady Cougars finished the game with a score of 26-24 to head into district play in style.

“It’s a really good start for us to go into districts tomorrow,” said Larissa Howe.

So far they earned 10th place out of 32 teams at the texas Showdown and won 5-3 at their first tournament this year.

On Tuesday, volleyball will be playing against Klein Forest.
