Charlie Bose, Online Editor

Softball competed against Waller in their most recent game and lost 4-1

This loss puts Softball’s district record 3-7 and overall record 8-11.

Imani Edwards made 2 hits and the only run of the game. Edwards was batted in by Amanda Skivington and Catie Boyd struck out a Waller batter.

Last Tuesday, softball fought Magnolia High on the home front and fought them hard.

After a back-and-forth game, the Lady Cougars fell short, 8-6.

Imani Edwards made 2 runs, Jeryn Cook earned a paid of RBI, Catie Boyd stuck out a Bulldog, and Celeste Finch made 3 hits.

Softball’s next game is at Brenham, at team they lost to earlier in the season, but Brenham has now dropped both games against Magnolia and Waller. Softball’s next home game is Friday versus Huntsville.

In order for softball to make it to playoffs, Tomball would have to win the next four games and an underdog has to defeat either Magnolia or Waller.

As of now, softball is 6th in district.
