Coogs grapple with Waller, broken by Brenham

Boys’ soccer has lost their last two games. Tuesday’s game ended 1-0 and last Friday’s game 3-2.

There is more to it though, especially in the game against Waller.

With sweat filling every pore in their body with neither team willing to give in, the score board was left unchanged for most of the game.

Back and forth and back and forth the teams ran,  neither willing to throw in the towel. Even at the very end of the game it was uncertain who’ll leave victorious.

“In the last three minutes of the game (against Waller) they scored which made the score 3-2,” Mateo Casanova said. “After that we never got the opportunity to score.”

This Friday’s game will be the their last home game for the season.

Competing against Huntsville, one of the top teams in district, the Coogs will have to give everything they got to win against the Hornets.
