Volleyball defeats Waller, district record now 4-0

The varsity team defeated Waller yesterday with a final scores 24-26, 25-27, 25-13, 21-25.
Senior Natalia Munoz (#16) is Kill leader with a total of 14, Junior Abby Hairell (#21) is leading Ace at 3, Senior Kendall Glueck (#14) made 2 blocks, and Senior Katelyn Richbourg (#1) made 27 assists.
Junior Ainsley Hardy (#6) is Dig leader at a total of 28 and made 32 receives.
Prior to district, volleyball struggled to keep their win loss ratio 1:1; now volleyball is creaming every team they’ve played against.
“We’ve been working a lot on our passes since the game against A&M Consolidated,” freshman Kate Sralla (#24 on varsity) said. “Now we’re doing much better.”
With the victory against Waller, volleyball’s overall record is 11-6 and district is 4-0. JV and 9A also won their games while 9B fought hard but ultimately lost.
