Coogs pick up road win in Austin
Tyrin “Tybo” Taylor accounted for five touchdowns – three in the air and two on the ground, including one for 74 yards – as Tomball won 63-37 at Austin Reagan High School last Friday.
Conrad Perry only carried the ball three times but each time was a touchdown, and he totaled 66 yards. His longest run was for 49 yards.
Kendell Gordon added a touchdown carry, while Austin Buteaux led the receivers with two touchdowns.
Jacob Jenkins and Dezmun Martinez each had interceptions for the Cougars.

As for the JV and Sophomore teams, last Thursday both squads fell to College Station, with the JV score 28-7.

Coach Chad Gainey tried to fire his team up at halftime, and the Cougars did put in a strong effort but just couldn’t stop the College Station offense.
