The Cougar varsity Baseball team won a big game on the road last night defeating Brenham 3-0.

Sophomore Brandon Marshall cleared the fence with a 3-run homerun in the top of the first and then made a Top Ten-worthy diving catch to help lead the Cougars to victory.

Senior Shane Daughety pitched a two hit shutout recording 11 strikeouts and only one walk and the entire team played good defense behind him.

The Varsity team is now 13-4-1 on the season with a 4-1 record in district play.

The JV and sophomore teams also beat Brenham to complete the sweep of the Cubs last night.
