The Lady Cougar volleyball team, which earned a spot in the playoffs by beating Brenham Friday night, opens bi-district action against Austin High School tonight at home.

Austin (a Houston school) and Tomball begin at 6 p.m., and tickets are $4.

The Lady Cougars (26-19, 8-6) defeated Brenham in a play-in matchup Friday night, winning 25-17, 25-17, 25-21. Natalia Munoz was the kill leader with 10, and Brooke Johnson led with 26 assists. Brooke Green and Gabby Guy each had 15 digs, while Kayla Cannon had six blocks and Marie Pierce led with four aces.
