Tomball takes down College Station, prepares for Crosby
The Coogs defeated College station in a 3-game series to advance in the baseball playoffs over the weekend.
The first game was a 4-3 victory, but Saturday saw the team drop Game 2 5-4 in a long afternoon, as the game saw three rain delays.
But the Cougars rebounded in Game 3, pounding state-ranked College Station 9-2 to win the series.
Next up for the Coogs is Crosby this week, the first game on Thursday at 7 p.m., at The John Cooper School (map) in The Woodlands. Game 2 will be at the same time and place on Friday. If necessary, Game 3 will be at the same place at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Crosby (also the Cougars, and also with school colors of Red & White) typically draw a large and vocal crowd, so the team wants all of its fans to turn out for the series.
Tickets are $5 each and seating is limited, so feel free to bring your own lawn chair. Concessions are on sale, so you are not allowed to bring in a personal cooler.
