Tomball faces College Station in playoffs
Tomball takes College Station Thursday at 7:00 p.m, at The John Cooper School in the Woodlands. Tomball beat Temple 8-0, clenching the title of area champions and advancing to round 3 of play-offs.
The key to beating Temple was driving up the pitchers pitch count, Tomball doing an excellent job, also consistently throwing strikes, which Shane Daughety showed great dominance of.
Game 2 will be played on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at The John Cooper School in the Woodlands as well. If necessary, game 3 will also be played The John Cooper School in the Woodlands
College Station High School is ranked 4th in state currently and have the best overall talent, with commitments to several colleges such as The University of Florida, Texas A&M, T.C.U., Oklahoma State, and Sam Houston.
The team is also know to be very loud and boisterous so Tomball will need all the help they can get to beat good competition.
