Baseball stays perfect in district play
Tomball varsity baseball boys beat Spring Woods 11-1 last night to run their district record to 4-0 and their overall record to 15-3-2.
Braeden Holub pitched a one hitter and got the win on the mound. Casey Smith hit a home run. Josh Breaux, Josh Covey, and Kyle Pasket all had doubles.
The Cougars play at Ridge Point of Friday night at 7 p.m. and then a home game against Stratfort at 2 p.m. on Saturday. The defending state champs finish up the first half of district on Tuesday by traveling to Tomball Memorial.
